The Most Convenient Way To Back Up Your Content

For 5 years, I have been using Nokia PC Suite to back up my contacts and calendar whenever I would need to format my device, update my firmware, or switch phones. The method ain’t bad since it’s fast, and you have a synchronization with your computer, but the main letdown is that contacts and bookmarks don’t get sync’ed. Ever wonder what the mobile phones of the future will look like, what they will be capable of doing, will they be smaller, lighter, flashier, whatever they become no doubt they will play a big part in everyone’s lives much as they do right now. 2014 isn’t really that far away now so it is fairly nice to see designers specifically projecting a time when their design creation may just make reality and to the market, forward thinking at its best. Here is an example of one such designer, Peter Koren, a young engineer and designer from Hungary who has designed a Flash mobile phone. Koren’s Flash mobile phone looks sleek stylish and slim, it appears to be button-less with a touch-screen colour e-ink display. Other apparent features include wireless charging, menu navigation

E61i Thoughts - A Wish For Dual Screen Mode

One major feature I have been thoroughly enjoying on the E61i is the screen. This thing is HUGE and so gorgeous. I know it?fs only QVGA but to tell you the truth I will never understand the advantage of a VGA until I have one in my hand. For now, the E61i?fs screen is one aspect that I know I will deadly miss when I have to send this baby home. It?fs not that big compared to the N95 (2.8?? vs 2.6??) but it easily gives the impression that it is much much bigger. This is also partly due to the whole landscape UI design of the device. Right now, many handsets including the N95 and the N82 support landscape mode by default, but it?fs more of a landscape rendering of their default portrait mode. The E61i was originally built for landscape use and hence makes use of the

E-Ten debuts trio of Glofiish at Computex

Cellphone maker E-Ten has debuted a trio of new Glofiish phones at the Taiwanese Computex expo. Leading these according to MobileBurn is the X900, a touchscreen device running the professional version of Windows Mobile 6.1. Although the device also has HSDPA broadband, its primary feature may be the style of touch control, which is said to resemble the TouchFLO interface used on HTC's Touch handsets. A difference is that the X900 uses 3D effects and large icons better suited to fingers. The X610 shares this interface in common, but adds a GPS module, in exchange for dropping HSDPA.
