Matt Pierce (vocals and guitar) founded the Unband and Eugene Ferrari (drums) in the late 80's. In the middle 90's the duo signed the record contract with the Chunk label, which issued the Unband's first full-length album entitled Chung Wayne Lo Mein in 1996. The record became rather popular and was followed by the Retarder LP (released on TVT ) four years later.
