Singer Stephan Jenkins, bassist Arion Salazar, guitarist Kevin Cadogan, and drummer Brad Hargreaves in the middle 90's founded Third Eye Blind. In 1996 the group opened the Oasis concert at Civic Auditorium. Soon after that the band signed the record contract with Elektra/Asylum, and in 1997 the group issued its debut full-length self-titled album.
