Guitarist Nick Wheeler and singer/bassist Tyson Ritter formed the All-American Rejects. They recruited drummer Chris Gaylor and guitarist Mike Kennerty to record their first full-length eponymous album, which was released on the Doghouse label in 2002. The group's second LP called Move Along was issued on the Interscope label in 2005.
