The Canadian band called the Trews appeared in Antigonish, Nova Scotia in the late 90's. The priginal lineup consisted of lead singer and guitarist Colin MacDonald, his brother back singer and lead guitarist John-Angus MacDonald, bassist Jack Sypert, and drummer Sean Dalton. The group's debut album entitled House of Ill Fame was released by Sony Music Canada in 2003.
