Dale "Buffin" Griffin and Pete "Overend" Watts founded the Silence project in the middle 60's. They recruited such musicians as Mick Ralphs (guitar) and Verden Allen (organist); Stan Tippins (vocals) joined the band in the late 60's. In 1990 the Silence was re-formed. The band signed the record contract with the British Invasion label and issued the album in 1998.
