The Meteors (former title: While Raw Deal) were founded by Paul Fenech (singer and guitarist), Nigel Lewis (bassist), and Mark Robertson (drummer) in the early 80's. The band issued its debut full-length album entitled In Heaven in 1981. After that the group signed the music contract with the Island label, which released the Meteors' second LP Wreckin' Crew in 1983.
