The Mae Shi was formed in Los Angeles (California) and comprised such musicians as Ezra Buchla, Brad Breeck, and Tim and Jeff Byron. The band specialized in heavy earsplitting music, namely in rock. The band recorded their debut EP (mini album) in the summer of 2003; and their first album was issued the next year, it was called Terrorbird (was very successful).
