Tim Kasher started the Good Life group in the early 2000's. He recruited producers Mike and A.J. Mogis, keyboardist Todd Baechle, and drummer Clint Schnase to released the band's debut album called Novena. The Better Looking label released the record in 2000. The following year the group recorded the Black Out LP, which was released in 2002.
