Dimitri Minakakis (vocals), Adam Doll (bass), Derrick Brantley and Ben Wienman (guitars), Chris Pennie (drums) founded the Dillinger Escape Plan in the early 2000's. Soon new guitarist John Fulton replaced Brantley. In 1998 the band issued its first EP, Under the Running Board. The full-length Calculating Infinity followed it the next year.
