Textures appeared in Holland in the early 2000's. The lineup included singer and guitarist Jochem Jacobs, singer Eric Kalsbeek, keyboardist Richard Rietdijk, guitarist Bart Hennephof, and drummer Stef Broks. In 2004 the band issued its first full-length eponymous album on the Polars label. The Drawing Circles LP followed in 2006.
