Patrick Monahan, Rob Hotchkiss (vocals and guitar), Jim Stafford (guitar), Charlie Colin (bass), and Scott Underwood (drums) founded the San Francisco-based band called Train in 1994. In the 90's the group worked with Columbia Records and Aware Records. In 1997 Train went on the music tour with Counting Crows, Blues Traveler, and Barenaked Ladies.
