Time Machine was founded in Washington, D.C. (the USA) in August, 1999. DJ Mekalek (born as Jay Gatsby) and DJ Jaysonic (his real name is Jayson Sonico) formed the band. The duo issued their debut pretty soon after forming, it was called Hot Air album. The album was very successful, and one of the songs, namely "Block Troopin", became a real hit.
