The Wildhearts band was started by former Faces and the London Quireboys singer and guitarist Ginger in 1990. He recruited singer Snake (vocals), Chris "C.J." Jagdhar (guitar), Julian (bass), Andrew "Stidi" Stidolph (drums). Soon after that Ginger left the band because of drug problems, Danny McCormack (bass) and former Dogs D'Amour drummer Bam entered The Wildhearts.
