The Skoidats is known as a punk band which was formed in Helena in 1995. The band borrowed its name from the hints of Oi! The band comprised such musicians as guitarist/vocalist Justin Dillavou, bassist Chuck Fuller, drummer Gardner Dunn, and tenor saxophonist Josh Crenz. The band became rather successful pretty soon after releasing their debut album The Times, in 1997.
