The Psychedelic Furs was formed by brothers Richard Butler (vocals) and Tim Butler (bass), saxophone player Duncan Kilburn and guitarist Roger Morris in England in 1977. The band issued their debut eponymous album in 1980. Two more musicians, namely guitarist John Ashton and drummer Vince Ely, joined the band the same year.
