The Kills band was formed by singer, guitarist and drummer Hotel (real name: Jamie Hince) and ex-Discount singer and guitarist VV (real name: Alison Mosshart) in the early 2000's. In 2002 the band issued its first EP entitled Black Rooster on the Dim Mak (label). The full-length Keep on Your Mean Side appeared the next year; it was followed by the No Wow LP in 2005.
