The rock band called the Exies appeared in Los Angeles in 1997. The group's lineup consisted of such musicians as singer and guitarist Scott Stevens, drummer Thom Sullivan, and bassist Freddy Herrera. David Walsh (guitar) entered the band the following year, Sullivan left the Exies in 2000, and new drummer Dennis Wolfe replaced him.
