Blake Sennett (vocals), Daniel Brummel (bass), Mike Bloom (multi-instrumentalist) founded the Elected, and Jason Boesel (drums) in the middle 2000's.The group released its first full-length album entitled Me First on the Sub Pop label in 2004. The second bands album called The warm hues of Sun, Sun, Sun followed two years later.
