Two sisters formed the Damnations TX: Deborah Kelly and Amy Boone. They recruited drummer Keith Langford and banjo player Ron Bernard, and the group began to perform in Austin music clubs. The band's debut full-length album entitled Half Bad Moon was issued on the Sire label. After its releasing the Damnations TX went on the concert tour to promote the LP.
