Tech dweebs and bloggers are licking their chops at the thought of a new Android device called Scorpion. The Scorpion is an HTC handset which will brandish an extremely powerful Snapdragon processor of 1.5GHz. Just imagining the possibilities of holding something with that kind of power in your hand would send shivers of ecstasy up the spine of any self respecting techie. (Or so they tell me.) The HTC Scorpion is still in the rumor/fantasy/dream phase and no confirmation has been made regarding a release date, or even if the handset will be released this year. What is believed however is that the Scorpion will be powered by Android OS. This isn’t surprising since just about every Smartphone that is scheduled for release seems to be an Android device. In any case, we wait with much anticipation to see if 2010 really is the year of the Android, Google and the rest of that unholy alliance.
