In 2000 Strata was formed in San Jose by Ryan Hernandez (guitar), Eric Victorino (vocals), Adrian Robinson (drums), and Hrag Chanchanian (bass). The following year they issued their first full-length eponymous album. Also in the early 2000's the band released its second LP, Internet. Strata's third self-released and self-titled album followed in 2004.
