Dave "The Snake" Sabo (guitar) and Rachel Bolan (bass) founded the metal group Skid Row in 1986. They recruited Sebastian Bach (vocals), Scott Hill (guitar), and Rob Affuso (drums), and in 1989 the band issued its debut self-titled full-length album, which had a huge success and went platinum.
