The bunk group called Sublime in Long Beach, CA at the end of the 80's. It was founded by Bud Gaugh (drums), Nowell (vocals and guitar), and Eric Wilson (bass). They gave their first performance in the Long Beach music club. In the early 90's the group signed the contract with Skunk Records, which released the band's first album entitled 40 Oz. to Freedom in 1992.
