Singer Gary Barden started Statetrooper in the middle 80's. He recruited such musicians as Jeff Brown (bass), Bruce Bisland (drums), Steve Glover (keyboards), Martin Bushell and Jeff Summers (both: guitar). In 1985, they recorded and released on Neat Records their first EP called She Got the Look.
