The Seattle-based group Sea Hags appeared in 1985, the lineup included singer and guitarist Ron Yocom, drummer Adam Maples, bassist Chris Schlosshardt, and guitarist Frankie Wilsey. In 1989, Chrysalis Records released their first full-length self-titled album. The group was refounded in 1991, after Schlosshardt's death because of drugs.
