Coming soon to an unreliable retailer near you is the LG Cookie Fresh GS290. The LG Cookie Fresh is the latest touchscreen device from LG and is a technical relative of the LG Cookie Plus GS500. The Cookie Fresh comes with 3 inch WQVGA touchscreen display, but not much else. It is equipped with a pitiful 2MP camera and no 3G availability. Scheduled for release this March, the LG Cookie Fresh is expected to be priced in the same range as the Cookie Plus. Price has not been released officially yet, but anything other than a bargain phone price tag would be criminal due to the inferior specifications. LG are the masters at making low end phones, so there is some hope after all. Nevertheless, I am personally suspicious of any handset manufacturer that lists FM Radio as one of the phone’s features. Let’s wait and see the price of the LG Cookie Fresh before passing final judgment.
