A new Android powered device will be making a debut next week. The LG Ally from Verizon will cost $100, along with a crippling two year contract that we consumers have come to love and appreciate so much. The LG Ally, will come with a 3.2 megapixel camera, an MP3 player, 3G and other standard services that one has come to expect from the simplest of phones. Because the LG Ally does not appear to offer anything out of the ordinary, it is almost laughable that we should consider the two year contract as something other than daylight robbery. It is worth mentioning again for those of you who are not aware of the basic premise when purchasing a new cell phone. Bargain phones should never be purchased with a contract. You will spend two years wondering why the hell you signed and that annoyance will only increase as the phone gets older. Save your money for a Smartphone, or go on the cheap with a device without a contract.
