Criminals are a desperate lot, so it comes as no surprise that some ‘colleagues’ of those behind bars are using any means necessary in order to provide them with mobile phones. This latest charade has shady characters standing out side of prisons and firing the mobile device via a crossbow into the indented recipient’s cell. No word on how successful this new tactic has been, but it certainly is a source of some humor. Mobile phones are banned from many prisons in the Western World and ‘guests’ of those prisons covet the devices in order to communicate with the outside world. Some inmates have complained that denying them the use of cell phones is against the law. However, most of these ‘innocent’ individuals are not interested in calling their grandmother on her birthday. Instead, they wish to use a phone in order to advance their nefarious and malicious ways. Best keep mobile phones away from them for now.
