Civilization is beyond a doubt one of the best video games of all time. With all the hype and hoopla surrounding Starcraft 2, it would be prudent to remind Blizzard fanboys that for all its bluster, the game itself is but mere shadow when compared to Sid Meier’s masterpiece. The only thing better than Civilization, is Civilization for free. Civilization Revolution is now available for free in the App Store. When first released, the game was priced at five dollars. Currently however, Civilization Revolution publisher 2K Games is offering the application free of charge. While the iPhone installment of the turn based strategy game is obviously no where near as in depth as the PC versions, it is still a must have for fans of the series and for those looking to get acquainted with this one of a kind gem for the first time. Civilization Revolution will be free for a limited time only.
