The Los-Angeles based pop-punk band called Tsar was founded in the late 90's by lead singer and guitarist Jeff Whalen, singer and guitarist Daniel Kern, drummer Steve Coulter, and bassist Jeff Soloman. In 2000 the Hollywood label issued the band's first eponymous album. The following year Tsar released the King of the School EP. Bands-Girls-Money appeared in 2005.
