John Belushi, Donald "Duck" Dunn (bass) and Steve Cropper (guitar) formed the Blues Brothers in the early 70's. Later they recruited Matt "Guitar" Murphy. In 1976 they became popular after performing on the TV-show called Saturday Night Live. In 1978 the project issued its first full-length album entitled Briefcase Full of Blues, which had a great success and went platinum.
