Vocalist Chris Brown - pop-oriented R&B singer – had a debut with the Scott Storch-produced "Run It!". He became the first male solo artist to release a single that went straight to the top of the Billboard singles chart. At the age of 16 Brown came from a small town in Virginia called Tappahannock.
