Madison, WI's Bongzilla specialize in uncommonly heavy and doomy sludge-core dedicated to their one and only love: weed. The group was formed in the mid-'90-s. It consisted of Mike "Muleboy" Makela (guitar/vocals), Jeff Schultz (guitar), Nate Dethlefsen (bass), and Mike Henry (drums). In 1998 they released their first demo EP Methods for Attaining Extreme Altitudes.
