The group Blood, Sweat & Tears was formed after one weekend of hastily assembled club shows in New York in July of 1967. The idea of the band was created by Al Kooper (born February 5, 1944, Brooklyn, NY), who was an ex-member of the Blues Project, in need of money and a fresh start in music. He was influenced by jazz band leader Maynard Ferguson, so he decided to form an electric rock band that would use horns as much as guitarists and jazz as much as rock as the basis for their music. Most popular Blood, Sweat and Tears truetones listed: I Can't Quit Her, Meagan's Gypsy Eyes, Somethin' Goin' On, You've Made Me So Very Happy, So Much Love, Overture. Interesting fact - last downloaded ringtone: Somethin' Goin' On to Amoisonic M636 cell phone carried by CenturyTel.
