Motorola has announced that it will be releasing two new Android powered devices on July 7. Both handsets will be available via Verizon, the leading wireless provider in the United States. Motorola top dog Sanjay Jha wasn’t exactly quick to issue a battle cry as Motorola continues to struggle to compete with industry rivals. "We will introduce new Droid products in the Verizon franchise," said Sanjay Jha. Wow! Don’t throw too much information our way Sanjay. The lack of enthusiasm in general from Motorola does plenty to hurt their image. Say what you want about Steve Jobs and Apple, but there is never a dull moment when they release, or announce the release, of a new product. That doesn’t mean that the new Motorola phones won’t be successful, but it does paint a picture of Apples strongest attribute – the ability to stir up the market and make people believe that what they are purchasing is the next big thing. Even if this isn’t exactly the case.
