Suffocate Faster appeared in Cincinnati, OH in the early 2000's. Chris Alsip (vocals), Josh Secrest (bass), Chris Towning (guitar), and Joey Ray (drums) founded the band. In 2004, they issued their first album entitled Only Time Will Tell and went on the concert tour with Bleeding Through, Full Blown Chaos, etc. The group's second full-length called Don't Kill the Messenger followed in 2006.
