Jim Root (guitar) and Corey Taylor (vocals) first founded Stone Sour in the middle 90's. In 2002 the band was started again, Root and Taylor recruited Sean Economaki (drums) and Josh Rand (guitar) to issue their first eponymous album, which went gold and earned two nominations on Grammy.
