Songwriter and keyboard player Steve Porcaro was born in Connecticut. In the middle 70's he started the famous Toto band with his brothers Mike and Jeff, and also Joseph Williams, David Hungate, David Paich, Steve Luthaker, Fergie Fredericksen, and Bobby Kimball.
