The popular Norwegian vocalist Sondre Lerche signed his first music contract with the Virgin Norway label in 2000, and he got the first prize as Best New Act at the Norwegian Grammys. The You Know So Well and No One's Gonna Come EPs appeared the following year. Lerche's first full-length album, Faces Down, was released in Europe in 2001.
