The British trip-hop band called Sneaker Pimps was started in Reading in the middle 90's by female singer Kelli Dayton, keyboardist Liam Howe, and guitarist Chris Corner. In 1996 they recorded and released their debut single entitled "Tesko Suicide." The record became rather popular in the U.K. and got good references in press.
