Such musicians as Franks, guitarist Zac Diebels, and drummer Mike Johnston formed Simon Says. The three had been interested in music since school, but they had never planned to form a band. In 1995 bass player Mike Arrieta joined the band. To begin with they released "Little Boy" and "Perfect Example", and became popular.
