The metal group Samael was founded at the end of the 80's by keyboardist and drummer Xytras, bassist Masmiseim, and singer and guitarist Vorphalack in Switzerland. The band signed its first music contract with Osmose Records, which released the Samael's debut full-length album entitled Worship Him in 1991.
