Asgaard was formed in 1994 by Bartek Kostrzewa (vocal and guitars). The first structure consisted of Wojciech Kostrzewa (klawisze) and Jacek Monkiewicz (bass). Their first release " Excellent Darkness Art " (Studio O'le, lipiec ' 95) included five compositions in doom-gothic style. This record have noticed both in underground, and in official press, and it has received good responses.
