In August of 2002 on Pluto Records AILD As I Lay Dying released a split with other San-Diego based command American Tragedy. This split have shown a direction, where guys have decided to move. And despite of plentiful presence of discording guitar accords and growling in their debut album "Ashes", five new tracks of As I Lay Dying were more melodious, which interestingly joined the general dark tone of their music, and their songs stayed in a head of the listener for a long time.
