Just Shake It Baby - KTFT Vs iPhone

The avatar of iPhone is one of the greatest events in the mobile phone history thus far and although it still remains to be seen how much actual impact will the iPhone have on the market, but one thing surely remains certain - the technologies used in iPhone are already being copied by their competitors to woo the users.

One latest example of such an innovation is the KTFT company from Korea which has come up with a motion detecting phone which reorients its display depending on the position of the phone. Not only that, it also allows the user to change the MP3 song being played onto the next track by simply shaking the phone. So whenever you want to change tracks - just shake it baby. The model number of the phone is KTFT EV-KD370 and I think it just needs to…

Is LG KE850 Prada Copied By Apple iPhone?

Whatever is popular needs some protection, because there are fears that it might be copied. May be Apple kept the iPhone in dark for so long so that it creates curiosity in the crowds and also keeps copy cats at bay.

After the release of the iPhone in the new year not everyone has got a word of praise but there are a few critics as well (well who hasn’t got critics). First Apple was sued by Cisco for using their trademark as their phone name. Now LG has commented (no legal proceedings though) that the iPhone is strikingly similar to their LG Prada model which is to come out soon by the name of LG KE850 Prada. Not to mention that Prada is the famous designer company which collaborated with LG to create this phone?

Now this could be a pure coincident but…

Secret Of Apple For Secret iPhone Battery

The Apple people are world famous for their secrecy habits. Well I don’t know for sure if any of their ancestors belonged to the category of Bond 007 but one thing is sure and that is their tendency to hide things. The first secret which had been hidden for years from the prying eyes of the media was the iPhone which was just released this year beginning only. But then habits seldom change and so the iPhone which was the product of a long secret plan has got another secret.

Well that secret lies in the battery of the iPhone for you cannot see it from outside, meaning that it is not a removable battery like most other mobile phones. Another secret is that what the secret of the secret battery is. Well at least for this time, it is not great secret but only an…

    American Idol Vs American President

Politics is full of power and what greater power could be there in a person who is the president of the United States (often known as the world president due to the strong position of America in the world affairs). But if you assume that the common people are more interested in electing the president of the country, just take a break for you are wrong here. Another position (though not an official one) which is an equal rival to the president of the US is the American idol.

Statistics have shown that nearly 64 million text votes were cast last year for the selection of the American idol. This number is greater than the votes cast for the election of the US president.

It was said in the earlier times that pen is mightier than the sword as it could make…

iPhone - What Is There In A Name

"What is there in a name" they say, but certain names have a lot attached to them. One such name is the "iPhone" is one of the hottest topics around especially in the mobile world. After all, it took ages for the world to have a glimpse of one of the most mysterious machines in mobile history. But all is not well in the launch of iPhone as yesterday only I had posted the news that Cisco has sued Apple for trademark infringement in the United States District Court.

The latest news in this series is that Apple instead of being intimidated or worried at this move, has taken it bit lightly and called the move from Cisco as silly.

The Apples are all set to take on the Networking Giants (Cisco), and all we could do for the moment is to…

    Motorola And WMG Get Together

When two giants shake hands, surely something good comes out of it. So it is not a surprise when the mobile phone giant Motorola decided to shake hands with the music giant WMG (Warner Music Group).

The product of such a handshake could be anybody’s guess. Either they are going to product music which is mobile (whatever that means) or you will get a mobile which plays music (plenty mobiles play music so what is the big deal). Well it is the latter but with a difference and a bit special. The companies plan on global strategies to produce various digital products and promote various artists.

It is going to be a fun filled ride for Motorola owners with access to rich music of Warner Music. So they have the double benefit of using an excellent phone while…

Is Nokia Afraid To Eat The Apple Pie?

Recently Steve Jobs finally announced what the world had been waiting for with eagerness, and I mean the iPhone. He described the iPhone as 5 years ahead of the smartphones of rival companies such as Nokia. But despite of being plutoed by Steve (by the way plutoed is a new addition to the oxford dictionary), Nokia has reasons for not getting depressed.

Firstly the iPhone does not have 3G connectivity but only limited to EDGE (which is a slower technology) so it does not stand upto its hype of being an internet communicator. Secondly it is quite expensive so not affordable by everybody. Thirdly the feature set of iPhone is not as elaborate as expected. Fourthly there is not third party developer support available to the company. So because of several such…

    Apple Sued By Cisco

The release of iPhone by Apple may be a reason to jubilate for millions of people eagerly waiting for the avatar to descend on this earth from the skies of rumors, but it is certainly raising a few eyebrows as well. Well you might say there are always people who are jealous of others success but in this case it is not a matter of jealousy but a matter of ownership of the very name - yes I mean the name of iPhone.

Actually it so happened in the past that Cisco took over a company which had applied for this trademark, therefore technically speaking the ownership of this name does not belong to Apple.

Therefore Cisco has filed a lawsuit against Apple for infringement of their copyright in the United States District Court of North California. I cannot…

Disposable iPhone - Not From Apple

Mobile phones are quite expensive pieces of equipment especially the hi-end ones which have lots of features. One might afford to buy one, but then it has to be used for quite some time before a new one is bought. But how would you feel if you used phones like tissues, I mean every time you use one, you dispose off in the dustbin and go for a new one. Well there are many ways of doing it - firstly you have to be a millionaire, secondly you would have to win a lottery, thirdly you will have to be totally crazy. But a fourth and much easier way is to use the iPhone designed by a person named Matt J. who has designed a disposable iPhone.

Well I know you might ask that the iPhone is a product of Apple (and trademark of Cisco for those who like full details). So who…

    iPhone At Last From Apple

It is a common experience that when you wait for somebody to come or something to happen, time seems to expand like a rubber band and moments turn into hours, hours into days and so on. Ok wait you don???t have to wait for ages to understand what this news item is about. We are talking here of the phone which has been long (I wish I could spell long as loooooooong - which summarizes my emotions) awaited phone from Apple namely the iPhone.

This unconfirmed product had been chased for long time now and finally has been announced by none other than the man behind the mission - Steve Jobs. A phone awaited for such long deserves an equally long introduction but I will only give a brief description of the features such as 11.6 mm thick, 3.5??? screen, 4-8 GB memory,…
