CBC Turns Cell Phone into Television
The Capitol Broadcasting Company (CBC) is testing a new technology that will allow customers to turn their cell phones into television sets. With the aid of WRAL, (a digital television company) CBC is planning to develop a new technology that will transfer HDTV programming via open air waves. If successful, this technology will take video streaming in cell phones to a whole new level and allow customers to literally watch television as if they were watching in the comfort of their own homes. LG and Zenith are also involved in this project that could possibly see public light sometime next year.
