Just look at the selection of mobile phones that we have today. It seems like every possible technological gimmick was tackled and every unconventional design form was featured on most of the mobile phone releases. I must admit it is really hard to create a cellphone that’s going to stand out. The way I see it, you can either make a cellphone that’s going to have some standoffish design, or you can create a phone that will be incredibly advanced technologically.
Look’s like NTT DoCoMo decided to go with the second choice and would like to release a simplistic and minimalist handset, which will have, on the other hand, some great technological features. The new handset is the 3G FOMA SIMPURE L2. Basically this is the mutual product of LG and designer Gwenael Nicolas and according to the update this handset will work with DoCoMo’s WorldWing roaming service, GPRS, GSM, and W-CDMA. One thing I must admit is the fact that this handset looks very elegant.
