Despite the recent rash of technical problems that have riddled the iPhone 4, Apple has enjoyed its most profitable quarter in history. Apple has seen a sharp sales increase for both Mac computers and iPhones when compared to a year ago, as will as an extraordinary launch of the iPad, which sold over 3.5 million unites. Hordes of brain washed and perhaps slightly delusional Apple junkies bought everything Apple had to offer and demanded more. "It was a phenomenal quarter that exceeded our expectations all around, including the most successful product launch in Apple's history with iPhone 4," said Steve Jobs, Apple's chief executive. "The iPad is off to a terrific start, more people are buying Macs than ever before, and we have amazing new products still to come this year." Apple also commented on the short supply of iPad and iPhone 4. "We are currently still selling both of those products as fast as we can make them," said Tim Cook, Apple's chief operating officer. "We have been pleasantly surprised at how fast this product has gotten out of the chute." Looks like everything is just dandy over at Cupertino.
