Having ranted and ranted about all things serious in the mobile industry, I thought a nice light hearted change was in order. A rather lengthy and annoying trend has been occurring in recent years about celebrity sightings and their BlackBerry devices. At what time did it become cool to own a BlackBerry as a celebrity is unclear, but pictures of the Hollywood crowd with their BlackBerry are all over the net. The latest sighting is that of Khloe Kardashian with a Bold 9700. The picture quite funny as one could get the impression that the talentless starlet is unable to properly work the device. Then again, she could be trying to read a text message, which that in itself is probably a challenge for all of the Kardashian clan. Obviously this is a lame jest on my part, but it is inline with celebrities who don’t deserve to be celebrities holding normal everyday devices. Honestly, who gives a damn about this stuff?
